The Cabrillo Unified School District has several active construction projects underway. These are managed by a Construction Manager, Rinaldo Veseliza, and Chief Business Officer, Jesus Contreras, who ensures that the projects are on track and on budget.

Hatch Elementary School

Repair Cunha Building C
The C-Building is the two-story building at Cunha.
The following is a summary of the district's progress to date:
- Completion of the air quality investigation in the “C” building.
- Emergency permit filed with the Division of the State Architect to allow the placement of portable classrooms.
- Continuing investigation of the Building C damages for litigation purposes.
- Lawsuit filed against the builder.
- New architect qualified and hired for repair development.
- Builder qualified and hired for repair work.
- The District has worked closely with the architect and consultants regarding the Building C repairs.
- The repairs were done in two phases: Phase One was the demolition of all of the damaged parts of the “C” building; Phase Two was the reconstruction of the “C” building.
Pilarcitos High School & Alternative Education - Completed
The Pilarcitos campus has been completed. The beautiful campus consists of 3 modular buildings, a basketball half-court, and driveway entrance.

The District Event Center
The District Event Center is a joint partnership between the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastside and the Cabrillo Unified School District. The event center hosts a wide variety of community activities.
Half Moon Bay High School
The following projects have been completed at Half Moon Bay High School:
- Upgrades to the Multi-use room for improved theater and music programs.
- Upgrades to cafeteria.
- Repairs to girls and boys locker rooms.
- New artificial turf installed on high school football field.
- Upgrades made to track.
- New field elements installed to allow high school to host track and field events.
- New Americans with Disabilities Act improvements completed to track and field facility.
- Softball lights repaired.
- New sinks in Physics classrooms.

Los Listos PreSchool
The district run Los Listos Preschool portable classroom and its associated playgrounds were completed.
