Professional Development

The 2019-2020 District and Site Development Plan includes one full day of professional development and six early release “Super” Tuesdays. The six early-release Super Tuesdays include three district-wide days and three site-based days. The district-wide professional development topics were planned in groups of elementary and secondary teams to target shared needs and goals. The topics for site-based professional development were determined by site teams. These professional development plans support the Strategic Education Plan (Local Control Accountability Plan – LCAP) goals of literacy and reclassification, college and career readiness, and school climate.
