Financial Information

With around 300 employees and a range of additional services, Cabrillo Unified School District supports approximately 3,200 students at nine schools across the Coastside.

 

The district has an annual operating budget of $36 million dollars per year.  Nearly 50% of this funding is received from the State, and around 40% comes from local property taxes.  Additional local sources including a parcel tax and donations (8%) and federal funding (4%) provide the remainder.*  Per State law, funds for facilities construction and other specific uses are managed separately.
