Safe Routes to School (SRTS)
The Cabrillo Unified School District’s SRTS Program aims to bring the community together to enable more students to walk and bicycle to school more safely and more often, by advocating for safer routes to school and offering student safety education programs and encouragement events, with the goal of improving student health and well-being while reducing traffic congestion and pollutants in our school communities.
We receive funding and guidance through the SRTS San Mateo County grant program, which is managed by the San Mateo County Office of Education (SMCOE) and funded by the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority.
