Free or Reduced Price Meal Benefits

Continuing this School Year 2023-24, California has Universal Free Meals for all students. Cabrillo will Provide each student with a breakfast and a lunch each school day at each school site.

Students must provide their full name or Student IDs to access meals at each serving time.

We still want your meal applications! Your school gets funding for each eligible application, even though the meals are free to all!

Local education agencies participating in the NSLP and SBP will need to collect meal applications. All federal regulations still apply for the determination of eligibility for the NSLP and SBP. Meal counts submitted for reimbursement need to be claimed in accordance with the amount of free, reduced-price, and paid meals served.

You can apply online for meal benefits. An application can also be downloaded or obtained at any school office, lunch room, or at the District office. You may return the completed application to the school office, District office or mail to the Cabrillo Unified School District at 498 Kelly Ave, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019.

This school year we will be serving all students "one" breakfast and "one" lunch at no charge regardless of their meal eligibility per California Universal Free Meals.

"We look forward to serving all of our students this school year."

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in the Cabrillo Unified School District, which provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to students.

The goal of the CUSD Child Nutrition Program is to serve nutritious, appetizing, and affordable meals to students. We believe that good nutrition is an important key to learning and that every child has the right to a nutritious breakfast and lunch at the lowest possible price.
