An Open Enrollment Request (Intradistrict Transfer) is a request to attend a school other than the school of residency.

• A student must be currently enrolled and attending school in the Cabrillo Unified School District, or be registered for the 2024-25 school year in order for a transfer request to be processed.

• Transfers will only be granted if there is room in the school and grade level requested.  No student currently residing within a school's attendance area shall be displaced by another student.

• All applications will need to be submitted via online registration and the InformedK12 platform.

• Applications must be submitted by May 8, 2024 to be eligible for the lottery on May 10, 2024.

• All applications received after the deadline will be placed on a wait list in the order in which they are received.

• Siblings of concurrently (at the same time) enrolled students attending a school on an intradistrict transfer will receive sibling priority in the intradistrict transfer lottery at the requested school if space is available.

• You will be informed in writing as to whether the request was approved, denied, or placed on a waiting list by August 2024.

• You do not need to fill out an open enrollment application if applying for the immersion program.
