The Cabrillo Food Service Department is a self-supporting program within the district. These meals are designed to meet 1/3 of the average child's daily nutritive requirements. CUSD Food Service participates in the National School Lunch Program.

If the district includes information about the free and reduced-priced meal program on its web site, a nondiscrimination statement about the district's status as an equal opportunity provider and the address of the agency with responsibility to handle complaints made against the district (U.S. Department of Agriculture's FNS Instruction 113-1).  For the required wording of the statement, see E 3555 - Nutrition Program Compliance.
