El Granada Elementary School

El Granada Elementary School is a diverse school community that fosters the academic and social development of each student. Among the academic highlights are a school-wide commitment to Reading and Writing Workshop, a robust implementation of hands-on science including a wonderful lab for 4th and 5th grade students, and 38-year tradition of celebrating Arts and Science Day. The El Granada parent community is highly involved as evidenced by the PTO’s commitment and support of the after school and enrichment programs. One such program is the Art in Action program designed around the work of the great and world-recognized masters. Teachers and parents partner to make this a valuable asset. El Granada is the recipient of the 2012 Kent Award for its innovative after school program, the Dolphin Club. Dolphin Club serves students in grade 4-5. Farallone View Elementary School

Farallone View is a unique school nestled at the foot of Montara Mountain. We draw our strength from the talents of our community, with opportunities for parent involvement and project-based learning experiences. All of our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, including our dedicated science lab. Students benefit from specialized music, science, and physical education instruction. In the fourth and fifth grade classrooms, instructional aides support student learning on a daily basis. Students throughout the grades engage in literacy through Reading and Writing Workshop as well as the Mathematical Practices of the Common Core Standards. Kings Mountain Elementary School

Kings Mountain Elementary School is an alternative school located eight and one-half miles south of Highway 92, off of Highway 35. The school has three combination classrooms serving approximately 85 children, kindergarten through fifth grade. The school takes pride in their ability to foster the development of creative, courageous, compassionate human beings who are committed to realizing their full potential, while supporting others to do the same.
