Kings Mountain Elementary School is fortunate to have an excellent after-school program known as the Kings Mountain Children's Center, or KMCC for short. KMCC is a self-supporting, nonprofit, child care program.
Although KMCC is run under the direction of the Cabrillo Unified School District, it is open to all approved elementary aged students, regardless of school affiliation.
With working parents & commuting families on the go, KMCC provides an invaluable service for local families. Featuring a Homework Club and a caring, creative director, the after-school program serves as a natural extension and complement to the school as well as the community. Well-attended and popular, KMCC operates throughout the school year also providing child care coverage during many school holidays
