Science Class
All K-1 students attend a 45 minute science class every week for 6 months. All 4-5 students attend science class weekly. These classes advance the science instruction in the classroom and are entirely paid for through the fundraising efforts of the Friends of Farallone PTO. Thanks to the PTO's commitment to science education, students learn science by doing science. Farallone View uses the Full Option Science System (FOSS) curriculum developed by the Lawrence Hall of Science. All lessons are lab-based and actively engage students in scientific method and inquiry.
