Scrip and eScrip

Scrip and eScrip: the easiest way you can help is to sign up for Scrip and eScrip programs. Vendors will return a % of money you already spend to El Granada elementary. Each year we raise thousands of dollars through these programs, with only a few participating families. Imagine what we could do if all families participated. SCRIP:

What is SCRIP? The EG PTO buys gift cards from various vendors at a discounted price and sells them at face value to the school community. You make your regular purchases using the gift cards and EG PTO profits.

Which Gift Cards are available? Some of the participating vendors are Safeway (4% contribution), Gap, Old Navy (9% contribution), Chevron (2%). For a complete list of participating vendors and Gift card order form please click here.

How to obtain gift cards? Gift cards for Safeway, NewLeaf, Starbucks are available year round and can be purchased on Fridays after school. Please contact Kerri Gustin, if you can not make these times & she will make sure you receive your gift cards. To order gift cards for other vendors, please contact Kerri.

eSCRIP:

What is eSCRIP? It’s an easy fundraising tool developed by ESI (Electronic Scrip Incorporated). ESI has entered into agreements with major national and regional vendors for this program. By enrolling in this program, a % of your purchases will be directed to the El Granada PTO, whether they are made online or at the store.

How does it work? You register your credit / debit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and debit cards, or Safeway card) with eSCRIP and every time you make purchases at the participating vendors, a % of your purchase is returned to EGPTO. If you shop at Safeway through this program, using gift cards, 8% of your Safeway purchase will benefit EG PTO.

How to sign up? You can register your credit card and Safeway card online by going to www.escrip.com and go to “sign up”. Select El Granada PTO (Group ID#: 137137351) as the group you would like to support & you can start shopping. For online purchases, you can link to your favorite vendor through the eSCRIP web site.
