8th Grade Science Fair Project

January 9-11, 2012

The Cunha Science Fair is January 9-11, 20121 in the School Gym. The public was invited to view the great projects and awards ceremony on Wednesday January 11th at 7 PM. This is a great opportunity for future 8th graders to view some great projects and see how it is done.

Science Fair BookletDescription
All eighth graders are required to submit a project using the scientific method as a component of their science grade. Facets of a project include the question or problem, hypothesis, methodology, independent, dependent and control variables. The Science Fair project requires students to complete a long-term, involved research project. Students have the opportunity to discover real-life applications of scientific theories or problems and pursue projects reflective of their interests or hobbies.

Parent and Student Information Booklet is available to download (pdf) by clicking here.
