Jeff Crofton, District Network and Computer Specialist
Stig Lynne, District Computer Technician

The tech staff supports over 750 network computers and peripherals used by 4000 users (200 staff, 3800 students). We support district and school offices, 8 full computer labs, and 176 classrooms with 1–8 computers, as well as adult ed and CSM classes in our facilities.

Applications include email for all staff, a student information system (Infinite CampusI), data tools (EADMS), communication tools (Infinite Campus Portals and Schoolloop), and library, food service, and curricular databases. We manage technology issues related to construction, purchasing, and recycling of equipment. Website management, state and federally mandated data and testing services, and data for grants and fiscal reports are also coordinated through the technology department.

 Donations

Cabrillo Unified schools are very grateful for all the offers of technology donations that we receive. To maintain a reasonable level of consistency and performance in the district's equipment, we accept computers and peripherals that meet our minimum guidelines. This facilitates the district's ability to service and maintain our many computers, printers, and the networks that they use.

If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact one of the technology staff:
Jeff Crofton, Computer and Network Specialist 712-7138
Anne Bailey, Technology Coordinator, at 650-712-7127

All accepted donations will receive a letter of confirmation for tax purposes. After your have received donation approval from the Technology Office, be sure to leave your name, business, and address with your equipment when you drop it off. For donations that we do not accept, you might try contacting other area non-profits, or a recycling center such as CRC.
