  • None of the funds can be used for administrators’ salaries, benefits or pensions

Measure E Parcel Tax Citizens' Oversight Committee (COC)

The purpose of the COC is to inform the public at least annually in a written report whether the tax dollars that are generated by the parcel tax measure (Measure E) approved by Coastside voters on June 8 are being expended in a manner consistent with the ballot language.

The Committee is comprised of one representative from the business community; one from a senior citizens organization; two from represented bargaining units; and three selected by the Board, of which at least one has a child enrolled in a District school. The Committee reviews expenditures and present an annual report.
